Start small: add an account, enter a few transactions and create a budget. Then explore pots and check-ins as you settle into a routine. Available tools and menu names may differ by platform and version.

Automatic bank connections rely on services that charge ongoing monthly fees. We’ve left bank syncing out to keep Eva affordable. You can enter transactions yourself, and the Apple version supports CSV, OFX and QIF statement imports. If customers request it, we may offer bank syncing as an optional paid subscription in the future. It is not currently available, and no launch date has been set. Tell us at aofree@proton.me if you’d find it useful.

Check your version’s settings for backup and export tools. Save a backup before changing devices or reinstalling Eva, and keep exported files somewhere secure. If you cannot find the option you need, contact support with your platform and app version.

Check that Eva is up to date, then close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, email us with your device, operating system, Eva version and the steps that led to it. Please back up your records before reinstalling and remove private information from screenshots.
